Serpent Trail Race took place in South Downs, UK this week-end. There was an inaugural 75km race with a woman overall winner Sophie Biggs in 6:58:35, and also 3rd overall was Veronika Gill in 7:23:12. Too cool! Awesome to see previous pod guest Charlotte Clarke on the 50k distance too, having the best time and an awesome race.
Still in the UK, as they say ‘A Maverick Race First’ happened in the South Downs with an all women podium on the 9km distance!
Anaïs Quemener is exploring different challenges in running postpartum and so far it seems full of joy. She ran 5 marathons in 5 days at Bretzel Ultra Tri, winning in 17h07’55.
Loved watching Hoka Val D’Aran by UTMB live with Stephanie Case as one of the host. Awesome performances all around including Laura Van Vooren taking the win for the 100miles, and Mari Fenre the 100km.
Last but not least, women do run across countries too! Fran Hurndall became the fastest women to run from Perth to Sydney, representing 3,800km in 60 days. She raised awareness and money for those impacted by domestic violence.
